“ Having worked in specialty coffee for around 8 years it can be hard finding good coffee in cities abroad, but this place is amazing. Coffee has been very good and the service has been really friendly. (Which has been hard to come by, mainly because of my bad Spanish in fairness ). By the looks of things there’s a few specialty coffee shops opened up in the city of recent but if you want genuine, lovely authentic service too, then make sure you come here! I’ve tried their Americano (which they made smaller for me with no fuss, I usually feel picky and annoying asking for this) and the filter option which was a juicy banger. ”
“ Whenever I travel, I always look for a third wave coffee place for my morning cappuccino. Swallow Coffee in Alicante did not disappoint. The cappuccino and flat white we ordered were I also love the no laptop policy! This way, it encourages to people to talk face to face. The decor and aesthetic is so peaceful and all the workers and baristas are so welcoming! Will definitely be back when I travel to Alicante again! ”
“ Coffee was really good and the barista was very nice and even explained the coffee to us. We came back for a second coffee on another day and i must say, go try the coconut matcha, it’s SO GOOD. (barista knows whats she is doing, props to her). But the spring bowl was not it. It was way too much chia with very little fruit on top. The granola tasted like curcuma and nothing else. I wished there would've been some yogurt or more fruit or less chia or idk, i felt like i was scooping and eating chia for an eternity. Very expensive for what it is. So yes for coffee, no for the food. ”
“ The reason I want to come back to Alicante! I always order an oat milk latte and the one I had here, was the best latte I’ve ever tried, tasted so smooth, not too roasted and the croissants were full of filling (a nice bonus). Besides that, the whole atmosphere in the coffee shop is really nice — friendly staff, stylish furniture and perfect location (located in the center but you don’t hear any noise). Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s in Alicante (have one latte for me please ) ”
“ Swallow was the very first place we visited in Alicante, and it instantly became our favourite spot in the city! From the first sip, we were hooked – whether it was coffee or matcha, everything was top quality. We ended up planning our days around our visits to Swallow! The vibe is absolutely amazing, relaxed and full of character, and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming – they truly made us feel at home. We’ll 100% be back every time we’re in Alicante. A total gem! ”
